Six Foot Six – Geelong, VIC
In 1803 William Buckley, regarded as a giant at six- foot-six, was transported as a convict to Port Phillip Bay.
He escaped captivity and amazingly spent the next 32 years roaming the area with the local Aborigines surviving entirely on the bounty of the Geelong region.
Geelong’s bounty has changed somewhat and now includes these wines, full of fruit richness and intensity. Six Foot Six pays tribute to a big man with an even bigger story.
