Established in 1974 the Peel style has evolved over the years but has always been renowned for its strong wood influences particularly in
the reds.
One of the oldest wineries in WA, Will Nairn has been a pioneer in his approach to winemaking. “My philosophy is that I love
making wines which live and gain complexity through time.”

James Halliday Australian Wine Companion 2009 |
2005 Chardonnay
• 92 points “Well made; grapefruit, melon and plenty of toasty oak; the creamy texture is cleaned up with vibrant acidity and
the finish is complex, nutty and long.” James Halliday Australian Wine Companion 2009
2002 Cabernet Sauvignon
• 93 Points “A solid wine; pleanty of blackcurrant and blackberry fruit; warm oak and ripe tannins; has developed well and will
continue.” James Halliday, Australian wine companion 2008
• 94 points “Marks the continued refinement of Peel Cabernets that started a few years ago. This would clearly be the best Peel Cabernet released.
Seductive scents of mint and red fruit with beautiful oak. Palate is controlled and focused with along finish. Wonderful combination of supple generous
mouth feel with underlying structure and body. Exciting development for Peel.” Ray Jordan’s Guide to wine 2008, Western Australia
2000 Shiraz ***** “Intense fragrant nose showing lovely bottle age complexity. Very fresh, elegant palate with lovely berry flavours and tight acid
backbone. A long seamless and approachable style.” Winestate Best Wines of 2007- Winestate Annual 2008
