Domaine Joseph Cattin – Alsace, France
The Cattin family settled in Alsace in 1730. Between 1850 and 1978, the Cattin family had been grape growers, with Joseph-Antoine at the end of the 19th Century specialising in grafting to fight the phylloxera plague, hence becoming a pioneer of the Alsation wine growers.
Since 1978, Jacques and Jean-Marie Cattin took control of the business: they have established a cellar door, a modern wine making facility and expanded the vineyard to approx 50ha with the end result being well crafted and highly acclaimed wines.
